N.B.  This event is for Hostiles and guests invited by Hostiles/Andy from Warzone paintball only!

Hey Hostiles!!

The Hostiles Team Weekend Bonanza will take place from Saturday 6th- Sunday 7th at Warzone Paintball (http://www.warzonepaintball.co.uk) in Norfolk! This really is an unmissable weekend for anyone who calls themselves a Hostile!! It features TWO full days of paintball – one with a walkon-style of play with Hostiles and friends on the Saturday, the option to camp on site, a whole day of exclusive training from international professional all-star player Nicky T, a charity raffle and much much MUCH more!

Saturday: Arrival at 9am – a full day of play run like a normal walkon, but with just Hostiles and close friends! Camping available on-site! (Travelodges are also ample close-by for those of us who still want to hang out on-site in the evening but like showering! )

Sunday: 9am start – A full day of custom woodsball/scenario training with professional player Nicky T (www.winningskillz.com). Hostiles will be the first team in the UK to have this customized woodsball/scenario clinic which will cover game tactics, snap shooting, selecting cover, effective communication and movement and more! Finish at 4-5pm.

Costs
Nicky T Clinic cost: (MUST be paid in advance!) £20
Warzone Walkon Fee: £10 per Hostile per day
Paint prices: £25/case, site paint must be used and a variety will be offered.  Only 1 case is needed for training with Nicky T on Sunday.

Charity Raffle:
Entry: £1 per raffle strip.

Staargate was Awesome!

The Hostiles played great as a team even though we had a small contigent of only 10 of us and a hand full of ring-ins we did great with some really memorable battles. Espeically in and around the fort we had some amazing team play which saw us hammer those reds (the baddies).   Early on in the day we pulled off a great pincer move out flanking reds attacking the fort. It was glorious and we racked up a very serious kill count attacking the reds line from behind.

The combination of some great terrain and some good cover and instalations made it a great field to play,  but the scenario crowd the game drew was what made the event special.  Scenario ballers just tend to be loads more friendly and relaxed.

I didn’t hang around for the presentations at the end of the day but I think it was pretty obvious that we kicked serious ass, hammering the reds in both elimination (even though no points were scored for kills) and in scenario points, we, the blues were victorious.

Our next big scenario event is the battle of the bulge.  Keep watching for more details.

PS thanks to Olly for organising the paint discounts.  Even though he couldn’t make it on the day as he was “busy” or getting busy or something.

This years Staargate big game is set to be one of the biggest scenarios of the year. If you’re not a member of our team yet, you’ll be able to see us because we’ll be the ones having fun!
